I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Previously, I was a Lecturer at the Department of Library & Information Science, School of Open Learning (SOL), University of Delhi for 2022-2023 academic session. I have earned my Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Delhi, India. My research focuses on information retrieval, digital libraries, social informatics, and scholarly communication using text mining, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques. I have worked extensively with textual data. My work combines qualitative and quantitative methods, including focus groups, survey and field experiments, and computational approaches.
In addition to publishing scholarly articles, I have authored a book on Text Mining for Information Professionals. As the Chair of Professional Development Sub-Committee and Elected Standing Committee Member at IFLA Science and Technology Libraries Section, I actively organize webinars to equip information professionals with new computational and digital skills. Moreover, I am serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Library and Information Services (IJLIS). Previously, I have served as the Newsletter Officer & Webmaster at ASIS&T South Asia Chapter, Secretary/Treasurer at ASIS&T SIG-OIM, and Cabinet Representative at ASIS&T SIG-DL from 2021 to 2022.

Abstract The accuracy of OCR output for text mining and NLP analyses of large text documents can be impacted by errors that occur during the OCR process.
